In the Driver’s Seat: When Reporters and Photographers OWN the paper

photographer respectively. They became staffers at the San Jose Mercury News — and the left — to start their OWN newspapers company in the San Francisco Bay Area. What is it like when newsroom graduates take over?

near the Holy Cross School auditorium. The auditorium itself is the large
building up the hill on the right.
