The NLC will be Wednesday, October 11 - Saturday, October 14, 2006. It will be in Austin, Texas. The Kneeland Project pays hotel and tuition.

Trainers will include:
• Valerie Hyman, President, News & Management Training and founding director of the Poynter Institute's broadcast program.
• Joan Barrett, General Manager and former News Director at KWCH-TV, and former protégée of Carole Kneeland at KVUE.
