NABJ Convention & Career Fair

The National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) will host the 31st Annual Convention and Career Fair, August 16-20 at the Indianapolis Convention Center. The annual gathering is the largest convention for journalists of color in the nation.
Each year thousands of print, broadcast and media professionals attend the convention, including writers, reporters, program managers, copy editors, producers, news anchors, managing editors, journalism students, news editors, general managers, media specialists plus anyone specifically interested in a career in journalism.
The convention features the nation's largest journalism career fair and many skills-based and topical workshops, plenary sessions, "super workshops on specialized topics," professional development breakfasts targeted to various journalism disciplines, an awards banquet and gospel brunch, media receptions, an exhibit area and so much more for veteran, young and future journalists.
