The Next Big (Health) Crisis – And How to Cover It
Harvard University
Nov 30, 2006 - Dec 2, 2006
Renowned scientists, public health officials and journalists will examine the threat of an influenza pandemic — and how to cover it — while sharing lessons learned in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, during the SARS outbreak and anthrax attacks.
The Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard will host the conference to address the challenges journalists face when covering a health crisis of local, national or global proportions.
