Hispanic Entertainment Marketing Intern

Must
be fluent in Spanish and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or
university. No experience is necessary, but an interest in marketing,
promotions and/or publicity is certainly a plus. Marketing, Communications,
Media, Film or Business related major is preferred, but not required.
Additional desired characteristics include: a desire to learn, an outgoing and
enthusiastic personality, basic computer skills, punctual and responsible
nature, strong oral communication skills and daily access to phone and email.

Description:

-Assist with all aspects of numerous motion picture
studio accounts

-Weekly promotional reports, charts, picture recaps,
daily screening reports and word of mouth research

-Maintain
master contact charts, databases, screening calendar, establish new working
contacts

-Implement
extensive and creative promotions, special events and promotional stunts for
all films.

-Work weekend
junkets, press days, premieres, parties, advance screenings, special events,
handle talent.

-Assist with
pitching and set up of radio, print, television, online, retail and college
promotions

-Assist with
pitching press features, reviews, scheduling phone interviews, satellites,
servicing press materials

-Assist with
creation, proofing, printing of promotional tickets, promotional ads and flyers

-Work on all
stages of set up, recruiting and filling promotional and word-of-mouth
screenings.  

-Demographic
research, maintain word of mouth databases, service press and promotional
materials

-Distribute
screening tickets and promotional items to media partners and word of mouth
groups

-Assist with
daily maintenance of studio press databases and promotional inventory
maintenance

-Grassroots
marketing, flyering, supervising street team efforts, trailer checks, store
checks

-Maintain
availability for last minute studio requests/tasks during day, nights, weekends
