Overview:



Part-time $15/hour paid internship
position for a small start-up web technology company, helping with our current
project: the Devvy Awards.  Initial
contract period of 30 days, with the opportunity to extend at the end of the
contract period.  Exact weekly hours to
be determined by both parties.  You will
be asked to sign a standard one-page “work-for-hire” agreement upon acceptance
of this position.

Job
Specifications and Requirements:





  •      Must be
    comfortable on camera doing 1-2 minute video roundup news reports and updates
    daily, as part of promotion for the Devvy Awards.

  •      Must project a
    comfortable personality and an enthusiastic believer of touchscreen phones.
    (Note: You have to not only BE a user of touchscreen phones, you also have to
    LOOK that way on camera)

  •      Become a
    break-out reporter for the tech industry, developing an on-screen, solo brand
    personality, like Cali Lewis on “Geek Brief.”

  •      Must know all 5
    mobile touchscreen operating systems, be able to drop personal usage
    preferences, and be open and fair to all 5 touchscreen platforms.

  •      Knowledge of
    Video Production and Editing is highly recommended.

  •      Coordinate with
    office staff in division of tasks and projects.

  •      Other duties as
    assigned.
