The Deli Magazine is an online blog that covers several cities and
regions of the country. Each branch of the magazine, through its blog,
and in some cases in print, focuses on the local independent music scene
of its given area.
Here in San Francisco, the Deli SF covers local releases and live
shows of some of the best emerging Bay Area musicians. In order to
expand its coverage, The Deli is looking for new contributors interested
in writing about the local music scene through live show and album
reviews to help the magazine shed some light on the many exciting
pockets of independent music this region has to offer. Ideal candidates should be passionate about music and have something interesting to say on the subject.
If interested, please submit a sample review of any album (bonus points if it's of a local band) that was released in the last year to sfeditor@thedelimagazine.com. While we're open to contributors of any age we recommend that applicants be over 21 as live many shows that need to be reviewed take place in bars with age limits.
