Editorial Intern with Trove.com

Trove is a personalized news and information engine recently launched by The Washington Post Company. Our goal: to
aggregate the Web's most interesting stories from a wide swath of
sources, then give our users the power to customize what they see and
how they see it.

Semester Internship
Hours per week:  At least 15-20 hours per week, Monday through Friday


RESPONSIBILITIES will include (but are not limited to):


-- Assist editors with editorial and production tasks for Trove.com.

-- Create and manage topic-based channels.

-- Assist in managing Trove's catalog of sources.

-- Occasional processing of photos for Web use.
-- Writing opportunities as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:



-- Traditional journalism and/or new media experience.

-- An eye for detail.

-- Adaptability and comfort with new information systems.

-- Curiosity about new ways to deliver news and information.
