PHOTOGRAPHY INTERN
Sports J is looking for a sharp, highly motivated photography intern to support our newspaper production. Interns are provided with a valuable opportunity to get great work experience and build up valuable skills and knowledge.
The intern's principle duty will be to take photos of restaurants, foods, people, and events.
Sports J will ask for taking photos for cover image.
Interns should be proficient in:
・Processing digital images from RAW to RGB, color correction, cropping, digital retouching and final conversion to CMYK, delivering image file ready for publication.
・Basic photo editing/Photoshop
・Basic file transfer/backup/FTP
Additionally, interns must be:
・Able to independently research issues to find answers to common problems
・Available to work some daytimes/weekends
・Must have strong ability to understand Japanese culture.
・Having conversational Japanese skills are preferred
Interns should be highly responsible and able to work independently with little oversight. This position is unpaid.
