Communications and Professional Writing - Internship

 

Roles



·        
Develop original content for media and social networks as well
as contributing to our ongoing publishing strategy.   Expected outcomes
include:  writing features for publishing (e.g. Reuters, Matter Network,
Triple Pundit), synthesizing the HIP research into industry insights, and
blogging about the sustainable investment industry — all in partnership with
HIP’s CEO.  



·        
Plan and implement innovative marketing initiatives – including
leveraging social media like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and others.  
Expected results include:   understanding HIP’s target customers,
connecting them with HIP’s insights, and spreading awareness of HIP globally.



·        
Reach out to journalists and bloggers focused on impact investing
and corporate citizenship and responsibility (CSR) by providing them with HIP
news and future developments.  Expected
results include: developing and maintain a network of media specialists that
track the progress of impact investing.



Required Qualifications



 



·        
Strong conceptual thinker  who can weave case studies and
metrics into their communications



·        
Creative and innovative idea generator – who loves to make them
happen



·        
Deep interest in social measurement tools and outcomes –
and how they drive readership



·        
Easy grasp of how sustainability creates compelling portfolios



·        
Great team player who can also work independently



·        
Commit a minimum of 10-15 hours a week for a minimum of three
months
