David Chiu for Mayor Fellowship

Campaign fellows will have the opportunity to
make a difference in San Francisco while gaining valuable experience working
for an organizing campaign modeled from Obama for America. 

Responsibilities include staffing the campaign
headquarters and Supervisor Chiu, organizing and attending outreach events,
contacting voters, performing research and data entry.  Fellowships are unpaid and fellows are
expected to contribute 10 hours per week. 
Previous campaign experience is
not necessary.

Fellows will receive weekly training on campaign
strategy throughout the fall and be invited to attend staff brown bag
seminars.  As permitted by their
school, fellows may receive academic or community service credit for their
work. Upon successful completion of this program, staff may be able to
provide letters of recommendation for other future opportunities as
appropriate.
