College Broadcast News Fair

CIIJ, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the Bay Area Black Journalists Association will hold a one-day workshop for aspiring television and radio news journalists from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2005 in room HSS 130 at San Francisco State University.

Schools are encouraged to enter the newscast judging contest. Only one entry each for radio and television is allowed per school and must have been aired on the campus station. The schools that submit the best newscasts will receive recognition and prizes. Entries may not exceed 15 minutes in length and must be received by Friday, February 18.
