AMFA Local 9 publication has opening for a college student
A Journalism/Communications student can gain experience in a variety of job skills. We need help writing, editing, copy-editing, production-editing, archiving and other collateral tasks. We also plan to initiate a monthly web-only publication starting in March or April.
In addition to the chance of writing under his/her own byline, an interested student could to do most of the work from a remote location. The interaction with the editors is usually accomplished via the internet and telephone. We will need to meet occasionally at our San Bruno office location. The work arrangement will be formalized in a contract that features $12 per hour pay for about 12 hours per week.
